These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you and Treeo regarding your access to and use of the Treeo application, related features, and any associated content or functionality. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Treeo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Treeo. Your continued use of the app after any update to these Terms will constitute your acceptance of the revised version.
You must be at least 17 years old to use Treeo. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you.
If you are using Treeo on behalf of another person or entity, you further represent that you have authority to bind that person or entity to these Terms.
Treeo may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for the app or its users, or used the service in a manner that is unlawful, abusive, or technically harmful.
You may stop using Treeo at any time. Termination or discontinuation of access does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued before the termination date.
You agree not to use Treeo in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful. This includes using the app to violate applicable law, interfere with another person's rights, upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt normal app operation.
You must not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, scrape, mirror, or create derivative works from Treeo except where such restriction is prohibited by law. You also may not use bots, scripts, automation tools, or other non-human methods to access or interact with the app in a way that burdens or manipulates the service.
You may not submit content that is infringing, defamatory, obscene, abusive, threatening, or otherwise objectionable, or content that contains viruses, spyware, or other harmful materials.
Treeo may offer in-app purchases through Apple In-App Purchase, including virtual coins or similar consumable digital items used within the app. Such coins are licensed, not sold, and may be used only within Treeo for the designated app features.
Virtual coins have no cash value, are not redeemable for money, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged outside the app. Except where required by applicable law or the platform provider's rules, all purchases are final and non-refundable.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Treeo grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use the app solely for your own non-commercial purposes.
This license does not grant you any ownership interest in Treeo or any right to exploit the app commercially, redistribute it, or make it available to others as a hosted, shared, or resale service.
Treeo and all related software, design elements, branding, text, graphics, interfaces, features, compilations, and other app materials are owned by Treeo or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property and proprietary rights laws.
Except for the limited license expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Treeo and its owners, operators, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages. This limitation applies even if such damages were foreseeable or if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Without limiting the foregoing, Treeo is not responsible for loss of data, missed due dates, overdue fines, lost reservations, business interruption, device issues, or any loss arising from reliance on app reminders, automated status indicators, or exported records.
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the app, the law, or business practices. Updated Terms become effective when posted or otherwise made available through Treeo unless a later date is stated.
By continuing to use the app after updated Terms take effect, you agree to the revised Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you must stop using Treeo.
Treeo is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system, or network environment.
We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of Treeo at any time. This includes reminders, statistics, export tools, visual indicators, hold tracking, and any virtual currency functionality.
Some outputs within Treeo, including due-date alerts, urgency indicators, queue estimates, completion metrics, summaries, charts, and other automatically produced results, are generated from information you provide and automated app logic. These results are offered for general informational and organizational purposes only.
We do not guarantee that any generated result is complete, accurate, current, or suitable for your specific situation. You are solely responsible for confirming loan periods, return deadlines, hold availability, renewal rules, and other library-related details with the relevant library or source. Any reliance on automated results is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Treeo is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
We disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that Treeo will meet your requirements or that any defects will be corrected.
Treeo is a library loan management and reading tracking app designed for people who use public libraries and want a simple way to organize borrowed materials and reading activity. The app is focused on the borrowing lifecycle, from recording a new loan to monitoring due dates, hold queues, progress updates, and review statistics.
Treeo allows users to manually enter and manage records for borrowed items such as books, ebooks, audiobooks, DVDs, and other library materials. Features may include adding titles and item types, assigning statuses, setting due dates, attaching cover photos, updating reading progress, recording expected hold availability, and reviewing summary views such as completion rates, type distribution, and overdue risk.
The service is intended as a local personal organization tool. Treeo is not a library account integration product, does not automatically synchronize with library systems, is not an ebook reader or audiobook player, and does not provide a social review or book-sharing network. Notifications, queue tracking, visual urgency labels, export functions, and statistics are convenience features meant to help users manage their own borrowing records more effectively.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Treeo and its owners, operators, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, demands, actions, liabilities, damages, judgments, settlements, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of Treeo, your violation of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or your infringement or misappropriation of any third-party rights.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the information and materials you provide through Treeo. This includes loan records, dates, status entries, notes, images, and any other content you submit or store in the app.
You are also responsible for reviewing your records, verifying library deadlines independently, maintaining access to your device, and using app reminders and exports as supplemental tools rather than guaranteed official notices.
You retain ownership of any content you upload, enter, or otherwise provide through Treeo, including text, photos, notes, and record details. Treeo does not claim ownership of your user content.
However, by providing content through the app, you grant Treeo a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, process, display, format, transmit, and use that content solely as necessary to operate the app features you choose to use. This license exists only for the purpose of providing and improving app functionality associated with your use of Treeo.
These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to Treeo or these Terms will be governed by the applicable laws that validly apply to the agreement and the use of the service, without regard to conflict of law principles to the extent such principles would require the application of another jurisdiction's laws.
